Does your windshield look like this?
Good news, if your windshield looks like this we can fix that! We have different options available from OEE to aftermarket.
What “OEM” means
OEM glass is made by (or for) the vehicle manufacturer and is the same type of windshield the vehicle came with from the factory. OEM windshields typically match the original in:
Fit and shape
Optical clarity
Thickness and curvature
Bracket/sensor mounting points
Branding/markings (often includes the vehicle maker’s logo)
What “OEE” means
OEE means the windshield is made to meet the same specifications for fit and function as the factory glass, but it’s produced by a manufacturer that supplies the replacement market (not branded with the vehicle maker’s logo).Customers often choose OEM-equivalent because it can offer:
Excellent fit and clarity
Reliable performance for most vehicles
Better value than OEM in many cases
What “Aftermarket” means
Aftermarket glass is replacement glass made by third-party manufacturers. Quality can range from very good to poor depending on the brand and the exact part. Potential differences you may notice (varies by vehicle and brand):
Slight optical distortion or waviness
Small fit differences that can affect wind noise or water sealing if the part isn’t exact
Differences in tint band/shade at the top
Differences in how brackets/sensor mounts are positioned or bonded
Which one should you choose?
OEM (factory glass) is often best if:
Your vehicle is newer or higher-end
You’re very sensitive to optical clarity
You want the closest match to factory markings/finish
Your vehicle has advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and you want the closest factory match
OEE- is a great choice if:
You want strong quality and value
You want a windshield that matches factory fit/function without the OEM price
Aftermarket can work well if:
You’re on a tighter budget
The brand/part is known to fit well for your vehicle
You’re replacing glass on an older vehicle where OEM isn’t necessary
